This position reports to the Accounting Manager and is responsible for assisting with all accounting duties, payroll, invoice generation, and revisions based on internal and external billing inquiries, works with project managers to resolve complex billing issues, and applies critical thinking to ensure invoicing is consistent with contracts and follows company policies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide accounting support to Accounting Manager and assist Manager of Operations with HR related tasks
  • Assist with the coordination of employee benefits
  • Ability to learn and input information into Deltek-Ajera system and assist with integration
  • Prepares and sends regularly scheduled client invoices
  • Gives assistance to Project Managers on billing requirements and project specific client and internal billing matters
  • Responds to waivers, obtains required signature, and sends to client
  • Take direction to assist with AP/AR functions
  • Prep and assist with processing payroll on a semi-monthly basis, assist with timesheet changes, and respond to leave and payroll questions
  • Scan, index, and post documents
  • Post charges to settlements
  • Prepare reports and documents as requested
  • Receipt and entry of project subcontractor and expenses
  • Credit card management & reconciliation
  • Process expense reports
  • Run reports as needed
  • Reconcile the delivery invoices with backup support and confirms project numbers

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Previous accounting related experience

Project Engineer Hydro

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Will be working on both public works and private land development projects
  • Specific projects of responsibility include flood control master plans, floodplain studies, drainage reports, storm drain and channel design
  • Performs analysis of hydrologic and hydraulics using hand and computer techniques
  • Researches project needs and develops scope of work

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Watershed Hydrology or similar

  • Proficient in the use of storm water software including: HEC-1, HEC-RAS, Storm CAD, GIS, and AutoCAD

Senior CAD Designer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to prepare civil construction plans for street, drainage, water, wastewater, grading, site layouts and utility plans
  • Works closely with Project Managers to prepare engineering plans by drawing system, components, and parts, preliminary thru final stage
  • Prepare construction documents anticipating project needs and deliverables.
  • Create and maintain the geometric and utility base files with given criteria
  • Create and maintain the horizontal alignment and vertical database files
  • Develop profiles, corridors, surfaces and earthworks using Civil 3D
  • Modify construction documents to reflect agency review comments
  • Produce quantities and cost estimates
  • Prepare final drawings by studying engineering sketches, specifications, and supporting documents; developing a layout of the system, components, and parts; drawing multiple views of the system, components, and parts; depicting relationship of components and parts; identifying dimensions, angles, curvatures, tolerances, and materials
  • Prepare rough sketches by studying engineering specifications; creating a picture of the system, components and parts
  • Identify and verify specifications by examining engineering documents; performing calculations

Party Chief (Prescott Office)

REPORTS TO: Survey Manager

FLSA Classification: N/A

As a Field Survey Party Chief in our Prescott, AZ office, this individual will work as the leader of a survey crew performing boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way, and construction surveys for public and private clients. The selected individual will be responsible for the actions and productivity of a field crew as well as the operation and maintenance of survey equipment, taking field notes, data collection, performing calculations and working with staff and clients on these projects. Involvement in the office will include reducing survey data, performing calculations, copying and filing of this data. Individual must have advanced CAD Civil 3D experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Knowledge of construction staking calculation requirements, including reading plans, specifications or details, and as-builts, knowledge of boundary/ALTA and TOPO Standards.
  • Completes daily reports and field data downloads.
  • Learns and uses field striking/data collection standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors to provide survey services.
  • Identify controls for property lines and make the appropriate decisions regarding how to proceed with the survey.
  • Gather all necessary information needed to properly conduct the survey in the most time efficient manner and assign tasks to crew members.
  • Make calculations and maintain records essential to survey.
  • Ensure that assigned survey truck is properly maintained.
  • Maintain and inventory all assigned equipment.
  • Respond appropriately to all employee performance issues of assigned survey field crew.
  • Communicate with management to maximize efforts and man-hours.
  • Ability to work over 40 hours per week as needed.

Required Experience:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent but Certificate and/or Associates Degree in Drafting Technology, Land Surveying or related preferred.
  • Must have valid Arizona Driver License.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of survey knowledge.
  • MSHA Certification a plus.
  • Must have CAD Civil 3D Experience.
  • Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) Trimble Office Software, GPS Support Software, and Geodetic Transformations.
  • Experience with field surveying including the use of data collection.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google Earth.
  • Ability to work with a team or independently as needed.
