Survey Technician (Phoenix Office)

Under the direction of the Survey Manager, this position engages in the collection of research, processing, and analysis of survey field data for the preparation of topographic, ALTA, PLSS, boundary surveys, condominium and subdivision plats, construction calculations, legal descriptions, digital terrain modeling, and GPS static control processing, and as-builts. The incumbent should have a practical understanding and application of learned principles via performing basic surveys, e.g. leveling, traversing, metes and bounds surveys, construction surveys, photo control surveys, and GPS surveys.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

  • Associates in Surveying & Mapping, Civil Engineering, Geology, or related area.
  • Minimum of 5 years survey specific CAD experience using AutoCad Civil 3D (2014 or newer), ability to utilize Civil 3D Parcel Manager, Alignments, Surface, Points and Styles.
  • Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) Trimble Office Software, GPS Support Software, and Geodetic Transformations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Earth.
  • Ability to learn and conform to company CAD standards.
  • Experience with field surveying including the use of data collection.
  • Prepare final plats, record of surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, topographic surveys, boundary surveys, legal descriptions, as-built documentation, and construction staking calculations.

Civil Engineering Project Engineer

Project Engineer experienced in design, proposal preparation, client coordination, and plan production. The candidate must be capable of writing reports and performing analysis of water and sewer systems. Experienced in grading, drainage, and paving design. Responsibilities include plan preparation and budget management of water, sewer, paving, grading and drainage plans for private and public projects.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer in the State of Arizona
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of engineering experience
  • Proven design experience, ability to use 3-D design software is a plus
  • Design experience with underground utilities, paving, grading, and utilities
  • Hydrology and hydraulics experience is a plus
  • Basic understanding of survey principles is a plus

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Watershed Hydrology or similar
  • PE License in the State of Arizona
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of local experience
  • Proficient in the use of storm water software including: HEC-1, HEC-RAS, Storm CAD, GIS, and AutoCAD

Candidate must be capable of writing reports and performing analysis of water and sewer systems. Experienced in grading, drainage, and paving design. Production to include water, sewer, paving, grading and drainage plans for land development projects and master planned communities. Responsibilities include plan preparation and budget management of water, sewer, paving, grading and drainage plans for private and public projects. The individual must be capable of and responsible for delivering a quality product in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and has the desire to be a project lead.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

      • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering

Civil 3D Senior Designer

Ability to work land development projects, specifically on subdivisions, roadways, water, and sewer projects.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

      • Associate’s degree in CADD or related field, or PE
      • Minimum of 5 years of civil design experience in land development
      • Proficient using Civil 3D in a design capacity: profiles, alignments, corridor modeling, layouts, pipe networks
      • Prepare final construction drawings for paving, grading, drainage, water, and sewer plans for land development projects from preplat to final engineering
      • Use Civil 3D to calculate quantities and earthwork volumes, provide value oriented design suggestions, review drawings, and documents to assure compliance with company design and production standards
      • Collect and analyze information for design of projects
      • Must be detail oriented and organized
      • Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of collaborating on project teams
