12th Street Storm Drain Improvements
Hoskin Ryan reviewed a flooding problem near 12th Street and Osborn Road. The off-site watershed hydrology identified that the problem results from a surcharge of flow within the 12th Street storm drain in conjunction with flat slopes and poor drainage within the apartment complex. Three alternatives were evaluated and new storm drains were recommended. Work included hydrologic and hydraulics analysis, survey, utility review, cost estimates and a Technical Memorandum. City Staff evaluated the recommendations and the project moved forward into the final design of a new storm drain in 12th Street with an outfall to Osborn Road.
