Reems Road Channel & Basin CLOMR
The Flood Control District of Maricopa County constructed the Reems Road Channel and Basin as a part of regional drainage solution in the White Tanks ADMS study area. Hoskin Ryan built a Digital Terrain Model (DTM) for the Reems Road Channel & Basin Project designed by the District, and imported the channel geometries from the DTM into a steady-flow HEC-RAS model. The output of the HEC-RAS model was used to delineate the floodplain boundary. The existing Zone A floodplain was revised using HEC-RAS to model the District’s channel and basin design. Floodplain workmaps and a Technical Data Notebook were prepared in support of the floodplain revision for submittal to FEMA. Hoskin Ryan was responsible for the modeling, floodplain delineation, and final deliverables.
