Midtown Livable Centers Study

The study evaluated public realm and land use conditions in a 64-block area centered around the HCC/Ensemble light rail station on the Main Street line. It developed a vision and recommendations for improvements of the public realm, aimed at supporting and encouraging increased pedestrian and commercial activity, as well as increased residential land use. The goal of the study is to identify an overall strategy for the neighborhood with viable and prioritized projects. A BIM model of the entire study area was built and populated with information on land use, building condition and ground floor activity. Architectural, planning, economic strategy, market analysis, and public involvement services were provided.
