We are pleased to announce Steve Harris, PE, has joined Huitt-Zollars as a Vice President and Managing Principal of our Oklahoma City office. In this role, Steve will lead company operations and business development initiatives in and around Oklahoma City. In addition, he will focus on expanding our aviation practice across the company.
Steve possesses over 25 years of engineering management, design, and construction experience on a diverse project portfolio. Over the years, he learned from the ground up beginning at a field inspector, then design engineer, to project manager, and then to office manager and finally to a director level position. His focus on quality service, team building, and sound Client management has enabled him to successfully expand engineering capabilities throughout Oklahoma and Texas, resulting in profitable business ventures. He has also led project teams by training and mentoring employees to provide planning, engineering, architectural design, and environmental and construction services.
Steve received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Kansas State University and is a licensed professional engineer in the states of Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming. He is a graduate of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Oklahoma Leadership Development and served as Corporate Chairman for the Oklahoma Airport Operators Association.
