Huitt-Zollars designed a two-mile segment of IH-410 to widen the main lanes from six to ten lanes with retaining walls along the frontage roads, new overpass bridges at Callaghan and Babcock, and the redesign of seven entrance and exit ramps. The design included: roadway plans and profiles, bridge layouts, retaining wall layouts, signing, pavement marking, continuous illumination, and an extensive storm drainage system for the main lanes and frontage roads. The shop drawing review and construction phase support services were also included. These plans were inserted into the master set, prepared by TxDOT staff, for a complete PS&E package.
