Bathometric Survey of Oyster Creek

Oyster Creek is a tributary of the Brazos River and extends through the City of Sugar Land in Fort Bend County, Texas. A large portion of the creek has been retained by dams to create a reservoir system approximately ten miles in length and meanders through commercial developments, residential developments, and parks. Huitt-Zollars provided surveying services to obtain the bathymetry of the reservoir system from Dam #1 located on the northwesterly side of the City to Dam #3 located on the east side of the City. Spill-over elevations and locations of dams, weirs, and other control structures along lake system were obtained.
